Shaanxi Provincial People’s Hospital (SPPH) is a medical center supervised by Department of Public Health. It has a well-trained staff of 1681 members including 315 senior professionals, 519 intermediate professional medical staff.
The hospital has set up 12 teaching and learning research units for different majors (including Internal medicine, Surgery, OB & GYN, Pediatrics, Gerontology, E.N.T, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Imaging, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Anesthesia and Nursing). The hospital is also responsible for different levels training programs on various specialties within the province.
S.P.P.H. serves as a training base for medical workers working in county level or lower level hospitals , especially for those who work in 69 poverty–stricken counties, as well as countryside doctors. |
