Shaanxi Medical College, subordinated to Shaanxi Public Health Department and Shaanxi Education Department, is the only medical college in Shaanxi province, and plays an important role in training medical and health vocational talents at county level.
There are 367 school staff members, among them 306 full-time teachers and 61 professors or associate professors.
The long-term training involves ten majors such as clinical medicine, pharmacy, medical examination, advanced nursing, and medical imaging.
The college has now set up a five-year education programme in clinical medicine, and advanced nursing. In addition, majors in community medicine, MCH doctors, midwife, nurses, pharmacy and medical examination have been established for the middle school graduates, health vocational receivers and village doctors. The school enrollment reaches over 3,145 students. |
